Your data
Documents and settings
Documents are edited on your device. The app has no feature that uploads document contents to our server. Drafts, settings, and the selected site language are stored in your browser. Clearing site data removes drafts and settings. Save important documents as files.
External connections
This site is served by Firebase Hosting. Loading site and app files sends connection information, such as your IP address, to the hosting provider. We have not added Google Analytics tracking code to this site. Loading external images, videos, or web fonts from a document or stylesheet, or opening external links, connects to their providers.
Windows free-plan check
While editing is offered for free, the Windows app reads a settings file from the official site (https://nagi-md.com/plan.json) at startup and at other times to check whether it is still offered for free. As above, connection information such as your IP address is sent to the hosting provider, but no device identifiers or document content are sent. You can keep editing even if the app cannot connect. While the app is free, it makes no trial registration or subscription check requests.
Windows trial and subscription checks (when offered as a paid plan)
These do not happen while the app is free. When the app is offered as a paid plan, or if you used a trial or bought a subscription before, they work as follows. Initial trial registration needs an internet connection. A product-specific device hash and trial start and end timestamps are stored on the server; reinstalling does not change the 14-day deadline. Subscription checks use authentication information and a device hash. Registration also stores the PC display name you enter and its registration time; removing the PC from the account page deletes that registration. Signed offline entitlements and authentication information are kept in Windows Credential Manager and removed when you sign out. Document content is not sent. See our privacy policy for details.
