Nagi.md VS Code Extension — Terms of Use English translation of LICENSE.ja.txt. These terms apply to the VS Code extension (the "Extension") distributed by the developer of Nagi.md (the "Provider"). Separate terms apply to the Web editor and Windows application. 1. Permission to Use and Fees Individuals and organizations may use the Extension free of charge for personal, business, and commercial purposes, with no limit on the number of devices. No fees will be charged retroactively for using a version distributed with these terms. Future versions or additional features may be offered for a fee under separately stated terms. 2. Users' Documents Using the Extension does not transfer any rights in documents created or edited with it to the Provider. The Provider does not restrict the publication, sale, or commercial use of those documents. For third-party works included in documents, follow the terms set by their respective rights holders. 3. Copying and Redistribution You may copy the Extension for your own use and for backup purposes. Organizations, including companies and schools, may copy and distribute the unmodified VSIX internally for their business, educational, or similar activities. When doing so, retain these terms and the third-party license notices. Public redistribution, sale of the Extension itself, and publication or distribution of modified versions require the Provider's prior permission. You may freely share links to the official distribution page. 4. Source Code, Modifications, and Themes These terms do not promise access to the source code of the Provider's proprietary code. Except where permitted by law, modifying or reusing that code requires the Provider's prior permission. You may use, publish, and distribute themes and custom CSS that you create. When using third-party code, images, fonts, or other materials, follow their respective terms. 5. Third-Party Software Third-party software and materials included in the Extension are subject to their respective licenses. These terms do not restrict any rights to use, modify, redistribute, or otherwise deal with them under those licenses. See the bundled media/THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.txt for third-party license notices. 6. Warranties and Backups The Provider does not warrant that the Extension is free of defects, preserves all Markdown syntax or original formatting, or is suitable for any particular environment or purpose. Back up important documents and check their contents after saving. This explanation and the recommendation to keep backups do not exempt the Provider from any liability imposed by law. 7. Liability for Damages The Provider's liability for damages arising from use of the Extension is governed by applicable law. These terms do not exclude all liability of the Provider, nor do they exclude or limit liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence. At present, these terms impose no separate cap on damages or restriction on the scope of liability, including in cases of ordinary negligence. 8. Support and Continued Availability Bug reports are accepted through the contact channel listed on the distribution page, and the Provider will respond as far as reasonably possible. The Provider does not guarantee response or fix deadlines, updates, future compatibility, or continued distribution or support. If distribution or support ends, you may continue to use copies of the Extension you have already obtained under these terms.
